'Win' Premiere - 31/10/2025

At the start of this month we premiered our narrative fiction short film ‘Win’ at the Curzon Hoxton. The film’s screening was preceded by a poetry reading by artist and educator Belinda Zhawi (also known as ma.moyo). Open to the public, this was followed by a Q&A with writer and director Steph Tari Odu and lead cast Shaniqua Okwok and Martins Imhangbe, hosted by BBAR Operations and Culture, Jordan Rowe.

‘Win’ has paved the way for our practice-led research. In the first instance, we’ve been able to carry out research into some of the inclusive approaches we adopted in the making of the film, by talking to some of the team about their experiences, supported by the London Borough of Camden. This was carried out earlier this year and informs an upcoming project from us.
